The 13th ACS/IEEE International Conference on Computer Systems and Applications -AICCSA 2016 is a forum for computer security research, presenting the latest developments and bringing together researchers and practitioners. Security and privacy affect systems and applications. Indeed, the more the information is digitized and the more the information is gathered the more the breach of security is open for hackers.
In the IoT domain, the proliferation of connected devices in homes and offices poses significant novel threats to both security and privacy. On the other hand, Big Data has rendered older security models largely obsolete. Big Data and cloud environments expands the boundaries of existing information security responsibilities and introduces significant new risks and challenges.
In this forum, we solicit previously unpublished papers offering novel research contributions in any aspect of security or privacy related to applications and systems. Papers may present advances in the theory, design, implementation, analysis, verification, or empirical evaluation and measurement of secure systems.
Topics of interest include:
• Threat and Vulnerability Analysis
• Privacy and Security in Cloud Data
• Privacy and Security in Data Center Networks
• SLA dedicated to security aims
• Application Level Security and Privacy
• Identity Management and Key Management Systems
• Security and Privacy in Complex Networks
• Network privacy and security
• Security, Privacy, and Trust in Cloud and Large Scale Systems
• Application security
• Attacks and Countermeasures
• Authentication
• Distributed systems security
• Embedded systems security
• Forensics
• Intrusion detection and Response
• Malware and virus detection
• Mobile security and privacy

This topic list is not meant to be exhaustive; security and privacy is interested in all aspects of computer security and privacy. Papers without a clear application to security or privacy, however, will be considered out of scope and may be rejected without full review.
