Scope

The research in Databases and Information Systems (IS) addresses several challenges involved in managing the several stages of the information life-cycle (from physical to conceptual), especially in scenarios with a huge amount of available data. Additionally, it fosters innovations on the application of Computer Science techniques and algorithms as a means or instrument for solving problems the real world, expanding socio-technical boundaries between the physical and online world.

Both areas pose interesting theoretical and practical challenges to be investigated, and we solicit original and previously unpublished papers in one the following topics (although we are not limited to):
